Home of the Showkase Comedy Spotlight Established 2010
The history of Showkase Comedy started as a event fundraiser for Unique Alternative Inc. in 2010. Unique Alternatives Inc was founded in 2005 with the mission to deliver compressive programs, workshops and trainings that focus on empowerment, strength building, and independence. Proceeds from Showkase Comedy events always supports Unique Alternatives Inc mission.
Showkase Comedy presents a diverse crowd of loyal fans that enjoy great comedy with awesome punchlines and stories. We work with comedians and comediennes from various stages within their career to bring you laughter and good cheer. Our audience average age range comprise of 25 and up. As of 2019, females make up 70% of the laughter at the Showkase Comedy events. Mr. Quinton Hoskie is a master level social worker by profession and is the promoter of Showkase Comedy brand. We book local and out of state comics to bring laugher and good cheer at reasonable prices.
At the Showkase we offer both clean and uncensored styles of comedy to bring laughter & good cheer. We focus on smaller venues that comprise of 50 to 200 seating. Our comedy events are held in Charlotte, NC, Kannapolis, NC, and Concord, NC. We do provide comedy in other locations when we partner with other companies/promoters with similar visions.
